At Almas Artesanas, we empower women artisans to work from home, allowing them to care for their children and ensure they receive a proper education, while generating decent income. This approach not only strengthens the economy of communities, but also encourages the preservation of cultural heritage and ancestral traditions.
Through a “Made to Order” production model, each product is ethically hand-woven individually, avoiding overproduction, ensuring fair income and respecting the productive capacity of our artisans.
In addition, we align our actions with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), contributing to key goals such as gender equality, decent work and responsible consumption.
OUR IMPACT
Our designs are the result of technical development and co-creation processes with artisan communities.
70% of our pieces are interventions that represent the intellectual property of the artisan communities, who are the soul and reason for being of Almas Artesanas.
