OUR LEGACY
Sometimes, as a gift from life itself, magic and the unexpected happen, where those small successes are born to be a light for others. This is how Almas Artesanas was born, as an opportunity to create value, honor and, above all, exalt the artisanal trade of our communities.
There are three Afro-Colombian women who lead this enterprise, who give voice to the stories of the country's artisans, mainly from the Pacific coast. Their commitment is to them, to the makers of this craft, to help them obtain a more equitable participation in Colombian society through commerce, entrepreneurship and social commitment. Almas Artesanas is a tribute to our indigenous and Afro groups, to their vision and their ancestral knowledge.
ABOUT US
Diana C. Viveros, Mileidy Gómez and Estefanny Gómez , three cousins whose ability to dream, create and visualize the world has been closely linked to their roots, culture and ancestors. Almas Artesanas,
an undertaking that was born as an opportunity to make visible, but above all to exalt the artisan trade and its makers.
These three women, art lovers, have combined their efforts, experiences and knowledge with a common goal, to turn their passion into something more than a hobby, into an adventure that will lead
authentically to the homes, culture and ancestral knowledge of the Artisan Souls of Colombia; making use of technology to boost and promote the work of the communities
Afro-Colombian and indigenous peoples around the world.
This is how Almas Artesanas was born, as a showcase to offer, make visible and honor the stories that each of the crafts carries, with a special curation, mixing the best of the talent of the Afro-Colombian and indigenous communities, mainly from the Colombian Pacific coast.

ESTEFANNY GOMEZ
Co-founder
Content Manager and Product Director.
- Graphic designer, Audiovisual producer from the Cali Professional Drawing Academy Foundation, certified filmmaker with experience in producing creative content.
- Art direction, certification and work in branding, community manager, product design and digital platforms.
MILE GOMEZ
Co-Founder
Director of International Business and Finance.
- Master's degree in international relations from Harvard University.
- Professional in Foreign Trade from Universidad del Valle, expert in international logistics, import, export, purchasing, supply chain, international certification from Baruch College, New York.
